View from rear bedroom of Pickles Cottage

Pickles Cottage, a traditional mill-worker's house, was built around 1912. It takes its name from the Pickles family who once owned the property and were a major factor in the local engineering and textile industries. We bought Pickles in 2018 and spent almost a year renovating the house from top to bottom. It took this long as we did much of the work ourselves - but when we got trades in, we sometimes had to wait!

You'll be comfortable in Pickles Cottage and will find it the perfect place to relax after a long day out. Whip yourself up a meal, order a takeaway or nip out to a pub or restaurant. It's all here!
